If you aint been jamming to this track, we not sure which planet you have been hanging out lately. This track has been a ”turn-up” of note. I have heard it through all forms of medium, jamming through the speakers like this is the WORD. And funny enough is that the ”Hoes” are the ones who are singing at the top of the voices as if this is ”SA gots talent”.  But as they say ”Hoes will be Hoes”

Lusito Land – Portuguese Festival

Gauteng’s most exciting festival, is turning it up – hotter than ever!

Lusito Land, Joburg’s hottest family festival is back in 2014 with some of the finest South African musicians and bands taking to the stage as well some of the city’s tastiest Portuguese cuisine sizzling on the grills. The festival runs from 24 April to 4 May 2014 at Wemmer Pan at Pioneer Park in La Rochelle in the south of Johannesburg.

“This year’s festival promises to be the best one we have ever put on and we have gone all out to make sure that all our visitors have a great time that exceeds all expectations,” said Noemia Contente, spokesperson from the Lusito Association for the Physically and Mentally Challenged.

Lusito Land first opened its doors in 1981 as a festival that celebrated the Portuguese tradition and culture. Over the last 34 years, it has evolved into a festival celebrated by the many cultures that make up Johannesburg and Gauteng. The Portuguese tradition has however been sustained in the wonderful traditional flavours of the fine cuisine that is an important facet in the Portuguese heritage.

Lusito Land has proven to be a crowd-pleaser and was voted no fewer than 11 times as “Best Festival” by Leisure Options Magazine readers. 160,000 visitors annually walk through the gates and proving it to be the ideal family day out ahead of Gauteng’s winter months.

Are you ready to be an Entrepreneur?

When i started this little venture of doing my own online entertainment  magazine, the challenges and adaption to the entrepreneur lifestyle. I remember while i was still doing my research i came across this article on the internet  titled ”5 Realities of being an Entrepreneur?” I had to just look at the main points again after been doing the online magazine for 2 months now, just to evaluate the current position of my venture and to understand why i was doing all of this.

  1.  An entrepreneur is an INVESTOR
  2. They do not buy OPPORTUNITY, they create them
  3. INVENTION is contagious
  4. Success  of invention, is BUSINESS-GROWTH
  5. Everyone has the ABILITY to entrepreneur
Entrepreneur, Business, Mind Set

New Balance x Shelflife x Dr Zulu

The sneaker guys would love the collaboration of Shelflife and Dr Zulu teaming up with International sneaker brand New Balance. This comes as the collaborative project  ”City of Gold” 574.

The New Balance “City of Gold” 574 draws design inspiration from South Africa’s largest metropolis; the city of Johannesburg; dubbed the “City of Gold” for its large-scale gold trade and wealth.  The graphics make reference to the formidable Parktown Prawn king cricket. Specific to the Johannesburg region, the Parktown Prawn has grown into one of Jozie’s most talked about cultural icons due to its aggressive nature and the urban legend of its indestructibility.

The yellow and grey colourway reflecting the colours of the local train system, as well as a stylized diamond symbol that mimics the graphics of traditional African tribal artworks. Boasting a collection of premium extras, the “City of Gold” 574 package comes with two interchangeable velcro options for the ‘N’ logo, a spare pair of black laces, a canvas carry bag and a rubber prawn keying.

The official South Africa release date will be on the 17th April 2014, while it will infect the rest of the world from the 28th April 2014 at a selection of sneaker retailers.
